On the whole 7,1 mln. transactions to the amount of 113,4 trln. KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-February of 2020. As compared to January-February of 2019 number of payments in payment systems increased by 9,5%, while increased amount of payments by 36%.

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)
In January-February of 2020 2,4 mln. transactions to the amount of 141,1 trln. KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments decreased by 6,2%, while amount of payments decreased by 36,3%.
On an average 54,7 thousand transactions to the amount of 2,8 trln. KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-February of 2020 which is less than the level of the similar period of 2019 in respect of number by 6,2% and less in respect of amount by 36,3%.

Flows of retail payments during January-February of 2020 made up 4,9 mln. documents to the amount of 994,1 bln. KZT. As compared to January-February of 2019 volume of documents in clearing system increased by 18,2%, value of payments increased by 9,3%.
On an average 124,3 thousand documents to the amount of 24,9 bln. KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is more than the level of the similar period of 2019 in respect of number of payments by 15,4% and more in respect of amount of payments by 10,8%.
