Regional branches

The territorial branches of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan assist in
the realization of the main goal of the National Bank – to ensure the stability of prices in the Republic of Kazakhstan

The main tasks of the territorial branches of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan are:

1) To assist in the monetary policy implementation;

2) To assist to the payment systems functioning and paying cards spreading on the territory of the appropriate administrative-territorial districts;

3) To ensure the financial system stability on the certain administrative territorial unit;

4) To realize the control over performance of currency legislation by banks, their branches, as well as organizations performing certain banking operations,

within the territory of administrative regional unit.
