On the whole 2,4 mln. transactions to the amount of 66,4 trln. KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January of 2017. As compared to January of 2016 number of payments in payment systems increased by 10,5% (by 226,4 thousand transactions), while decreased amount of payments by 3,2 times (by 45,4 trln. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)
In January of 2017 1 010,7 thousand transactions to the amount of 66,0 trln. KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 17,1% (by 147,6 thousand transactions), while amount of payments increased by 3,2 times (by 45,3 trln. KZT).
On an average 50,5 thousand transactions to the amount of 3,3 trln. KZT passed through ISMT per day in January of 2017 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2016 in respect of number by 5,4% (by 2,6 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount by 2,9 times (by 2,1 trln. KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.
Flows of retail payments during January of 2017 made up 1,4 mln. documents to the amount of 370,5 bln. KZT. As compared to January of 2016 volume of documents in clearing system increased by 6,1% (by 78,8 thousand documents), value of payments increased by 24,2% (by 72,2 bln. KZT).
On an average 68,8 thousand documents to the amount of 18,5 bln. KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is less than the level of the similar period of 2016 in respect of number of payments by 4,5% (by 3,3 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 11,8% (by 2,0 bln. KZT).
