On the whole 2,9 mln. transactions to the amount of 83,5 trln. KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January of 2019. As compared to January of 2018 number of payments in payment systems increased by 5,5% (by 153,5 thousand transactions), while increased amount of payments by 15,7% (by 11,3 trln. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)
In January of 2019 1 085,6 thousand transactions to the amount of 83,1 trln. KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 2,0% (by 21,7 thousand transactions), while amount of payments increased by 15,8% (by 11,3 trln. KZT).
On an average 54,3 thousand transactions to the amount of 4,2 trln. KZT passed through ISMT per day in January of 2019 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2017 in respect of number by 7,2% (by 3,6 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount by 21,8% (by 0,7 trln. KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.
Flows of retail payments during January of 2019 made up 1,8 mln. documents to the amount of 407,7 bln. KZT. As compared to January of 2018 volume of documents in clearing system increased by 7,7% (by 131,7 thousand documents), value of payments decreased by 1,1% (by 4,6 bln. KZT).
On an average 92,1 thousand documents to the amount of 20,4 bln. KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is less than the level of the similar period of 2018 in respect of number of payments by 13,1% (by 10,6 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 3,8% (by 0,8 bln. KZT).
