On the whole 43,2 mln. transactions to the amount of 566,8 trln. KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-September of 2021. As compared to January-September of 2021 number of payments in payment systems increased by 16.2% (by 6013,2 thousand transactions), while increased amount of payments by 14,1% (by 70,2 trln. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)

In January-September of 2021 13,0 mln. transactions to the amount of 560,7 trln. KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 21,6% (by 2311,3 thousand transactions), while amount of payments increased by 14,1% (by 69,2 trln. KZT).

On an average 71,4 thousand transactions to the amount of 3,1 trln. KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-September of 2021 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2020 in respect of number by 22,3% (by 13,0 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount by 14,7% (by 0,4 trln. KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.

Flows of retail payments during January-September of 2021 made up 30,2 mln. documents to the amount of 6,1 trln. KZT. As compared to January-September of 2020 volume of documents in clearing system increased by 14,0% (by 3701,9 thousand documents), value of payments increased by 18,7% (by 962,5 bln. KZT).

On an average 166,0 thousand documents to the amount of 33,6 bln. KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is more than the level of the similar period of 2020 in respect of number of payments by 14,6% (by 21,1 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 19,3% (by 5,4 bln. KZT).
