The National Bank’s representatives in conjunction with Agency for Regulation and Development of Financial Market held a meeting with the senior executives of second-tier banks. During the meeting the participants discussed measures for implementing instructions of the Head of State, as articulated within the Address to the People of Kazakhstan on September 1, 2023.

During the meeting issues of concern in financial sector were discussed, as well as regulatory mechanisms to stimulate lending to business by second-tier banks. In addition, approaches to further development of the national payment system were reviewed and approved.

The representatives of second-tier banks expressed their support for elaboration of comprehensive solutions to accomplish the tasks being set.
