Narkobyz

Narkobyz is a name of the biggest shaman Kobyz. By right it is regarded as one of the most ancient stringed musical instruments in the world.

In the left part of the right side of the coin on the mat surface a figure "500" with a legend "ТЕҢГЕ" indicates face value of the coin. Along the circumference there is a legend "ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ". Letters of the legends and figures are pressed. The right part of the polished surface represents an old man playing Kobyz and sitting on a rug under the canopy of an exotic tree. In the top and bottom parts of the coin, legends "Ag 925" and "24 gr." are shown correspondingly, revolved by 90 degrees and designating the production metal of the coin is made of, its standard and weight.
The polished surface of the right part of the back side of the coin shows a representation of Narkobyz, Kazakh national musical instrument. In the middle part there is conventionalized image of a music stand with a fragment of the written down melody of a song "Karlygash" by the composer Akhmet Zhubanov. Along the circumference in the left part of the coin on the frost surface there are legends "НАРКОБЫЗ ● NARKOBYZ". Letters of the legend are pressed. In the top part a figure "2001", revolved by 90 degrees indicates the year of coinage, in the bottom part there is a trademark of Kazakhstan Mint.

Dombra

Dombra is one of the ancient Kazakh national musical instruments. By right it is regarded as "musical queen of steppe".

On the right side of the coin in the left part two line legend "500 ТЕҢГЕ" indicated face value of the coin. Under this inscription two legends "Ag 925" and "24 gr." indicate production metal of the coin, its standard and weight. Along the circumference there are a legend "ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ" on the mat part and relief legend "REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN" on the bright part. The center represents an old man playing Dombra under branchy tree.
The back side of the coin shows images of three types of Kazakh national musical instrument - Dombra. Top left part of the coin shows an image of a stave and a trademark of Kazakhstan Mint. In the top part vertical figure "2002" indicates the year of coinage. Along the circumference there is a legend "ДОМБЫРА ● DOMBRA" on the mat surface.

Assa tayak

Assa tayak is Kazakh musical instrument, which exists from the time of distant ancestors. This instrument emits sound at jogs. Assa tayak is used for accompaniment.

Adyrna
Date of issue: December 9, 2005.
Adyrna is multistring musical instrument of ancient origin. It was popular among ancient Turkis and Kypchaks. Researchers marked its similarity with a bow.

On the right side of the coin in the center there is an image of old man playing adyrna and inscription two line legend "500 ТЕҢГЕ" indicated face value of the coin. Along the circumference there are the legend "ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ" (Republic of Kazakhstan) on the mat part and relief legend " Ag 925 24 gr." on the bright part indicating production metal of the coin, its standard and weight. Trade mark of Kazakhstan Mint is represented in the lower part.

In the left part vertical figure "2005" indicates the year of coinage. To the left along the circumference there is a legend "ADYRNA АДЫРНА" on the mat surface.
