Attention: in accordance with Regulations of the Governing Body of the National Bank of Kazakhstan No. 210 dated November 28, 2015 «On some issues of the parallel address» banknotes of 10 000 tenge of 2006 are ceased to be legal since October 04, 2016.
Starting from June 12th, 2021, banknotes issued since year 2006 can be exchanged for an unrestricted period of time. Banknotes issued in the year 2006 that have been withdrawn from circulation can be exchanged for an unrestricted period of time in the territorial branches of the NBK.

Attention: in accordance with Regulations of the Governing Body of the National Bank of Kazakhstan No.68 dated July 25, 2016 « On Replacement of Banknotes of National Currency of the Republic of Kazakhstan banknotes» banknotes of 10 000 tenge of 2003 are ceased to be legal since November 15, 2007. Acceptance of these banknotes completed on November 14, 2018.
